From a Hindu perspective enlightenment means that you have become free from the bonds of karma which is the cycle of birth and death. This cycle of birth and death is known as Samsara (संसार) where the process of transmigration takes place when the eternal soul moves from one body to another.
Moksha (मोक्ष) is the path to inner peace and it is the renunciation of attachments, desires, outcomes, and actions. You are content with your path, and you are finally content with silence. You are comfortable with neither being in a contented or a discontented state. Your acceptance of all or nothing no longer matters.
To think ahead to Moksha (मोक्ष) is to fast forward with egoic intentions and yet at the same time it is the very key that allows are escape from the prison of Maya (माया). Moksha (मोक्ष) is the cure to our egoic minds through our own state of enlightenment and the connection to our inner self.
Whether you wish to call this moksha (मोक्ष) or not it does not matter.
